Hail The Mighty Bazelgeuse armor build!
Let’s talk about the biggest problem of the new bagelgoose armor.
It is too perfect.
Seriously.
If you equip Bagel armor without charm and without the chest piece.
you still have enough spare slots to equip wirebug whisperer 3 and evade extender 3
Doing that you get:
Artillery 3,
Guard 3,
Load shells 3,
Evade extender 3,
And wirebug whisperer.
And all those are the essential shelling focused skills.
This means you have little more to do.
Maybe add razor sharp, or upgrade the guard to 5.
But nothing will really significally impact your combat performance.
But I got the work around to shorten your grinding by a lot.
If you can’t lower your kill times.
Maximize your rewards.
Good luck is one way to do it.
By doing some research around internet, good luck 3 gives you from 2 to 3 extra items per hunt.
It is equivalent to getting to carve a monster twice!
I will do my own research to verify date in the future because I’m starting to use this set a lot.
I already did use great luck in monster hunter world and its effect was great for low chance materials.
Three extra chances to get a gem are priceless.
And there is an additional reason to use this.
Because you don’t have anything else really better to slot in.
This is great for Stake Lance and Wyvern Fire Lance where most your damage comes from shelling and stakes.
Good luck requires to be used three level three slots.
The decoration is craftable… with three golden almudron orbs.
Luckily, the skill has partial activation and every time you get one orb you will raise the chances to get the next.
Bagel armor comes with a level 3 slot in the legs.
so you need two extra level 3 slots.
The best chest piece you will find with a level 3 slot is Vaik Mail S.
It comes with an additional level 2 slot that will allow to slot Evade Extender, so is perfect for its role.
About charm, the only single thing you need in it is another level 3 slot.
That it is.
Doesn’t matters what else the charm has because you already got the essentials.
I’m using the best charm I got, a divine blessing 3 one with evade window 1.
But I repeat, you can use whatever.
The resulting set will allow you to keep farming monsters for more materials.
Just getting that last rare mat can save you ten minutes of having to do an extra hunt.
This is for me the true meta Stake Lance.
Because you don’t kill faster.
You kill smarter.
